Giclee Prints
Giclee
(jhee-clay) is a French word. It is a term used to refer to a
unique reproduction technology. A Giclee print is the closest
mechanical duplication of an original artwork that is currently
possible. The Giclee process is widely recognized as the highest
quality reproduction method in the world today.
A Giclee print offers a
high resistance to UV light, and under museum archival conditions are
light-fast up to 70 years!
Important Note: Light fades
all
artwork.
Do not hang any artwork in direct or reflecting sunlight. Fluorescent
light fades art. Framing your art under conservation glass will help
preserve your investment, but, nevertheless, please remember the impact
of light in general.
Certificate of Authenticity.
Each quality Giclee that you purchase from Marie Findlay and Bark Point
Studio and Gallery comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by
Marie herself.
